In response to the Corona Virus pandemic, all in person dance classes, movement workshops and live performances have been POSTPONED until further notice. We will however continue to update this list monthly, with an emphasis on free or donation based ONLINE only events.

POSTPONED. TUESDAYS IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH - M /// P CLASSES AT DIYSFL 

Informal dance and exercise classes hosted by the Daughter Mary Company, exploring classical ballet and narrative storytelling. This inter disciplinary company is comprised of musicians, artists, designers and filmmakers, with mixed experience levels. These classes are donation based and open to beginners.

MONDAY - FRIDAY - KLEIN TECHNIQUE CLASSES (ONLINE)

Regular stretch classes, programmed by choreographer Antonio de la Fe. A gentle way to stay active and grounded, using the placement techniques and anatomical awareness of Susan Klein. Contact antonio@kleintechnique.com to book your place.

24 - 26 APRIL - SADEH 21 (JOYCE.ORG)

Tel-Aviv based Batsheva Ensemble performs a collection of movement studies rooted in Ohad Naharin’s emergent dance language, Gaga. Creating a constellation of human pathos and abstract beauty.

EVERY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY EVENING - FOR SOUL'S SAKE CLASSES  (ONLINE) 

Movement therapist and dance educator Hagit Yakira offers workshops for professional dancers and the community. These classes are free and take place on Zoom. The link will be posted on their Facebook page. 

 

BODY-MIND CENTRING TUTORIALS (ONLINE)

Body-Mind Centring is a somatic discipline developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. BMC presents a detailed and specific approach to the personal embodiment of systems and patterns. Visit their Youtube page for practical video tutorials.
